This album was released after the band had already broken up in 1969, after they had lost their primary songwriter, Pete Dello earlier in 1968. The remaining band recorded this album but broke up before it saw the light of day. As a result, the record kinda faded into obscurity but has since gotten more recognition from collectors. I find it to be quite good pop rock, with some minor baroque and folk moves. It is barely psychedelic at all, you can seriously count the moments on a few fingers but it is still an enjoyable set of pop tunes. I think these guys should be commended for producing this without their lead songwriter but it certainly isn't some lost classic. Good enough but psych heads should look elsewhere because this isn't gonna do it for you. If you are alright with just some good pop rock tunes with a late 60s feel, go for it. (in RateYourMusic)
