I fully support the BlackOut movement in the music world as this man Floyd was callously murdered. We had an incident about 3-4 years ago in Scotland in Kirkcaldy Fife where police have got away with murder in much the same fashion and one of them was a proven racist going by his internet history. The victim's name was Sheku Bayoh and at one point half the towns police force was sitting on top of him. He died of positional asphyxia. As a retired medical scientist I will put what happened to floyd from a health point of view.I think that the state's medical examiner is being economical with the truth putting death down to heart disease. The second post mortem points to asphyxiation so therefore the truth is probably a combination of both.I will bet my bottom dollar that the presence of petechiae has been deliberately missed for a purpose in the first PM and must have been noted in the second post mortem to draw the conclusion of aspphyxiation. Petechiae on the face and conjunctiva (eyes) can be a sign of a death by asphyxiation, particularly when involving reduced venous return from the head (such as in strangulation). Petechiae are thought to result from an increase of pressure in the veins of the head and hypoxic damage to endothelia of blood vessels. Also why has one officer been charged and not the others. They were clearly sitting on him preventing chest movement and therefore breathing. Also this is a first degree murder not a third degree. He was clearly not resisting arrest and also even if he had been restrained for a while that restraint should have been withdrawn a lot earlier. The officer with his knee on Floyd's neck new exactly what he was doing you only have to look at his record to ascertain that. And then we have a fruitcake president in the shape of Trump sending the Army in on American citizens. He seems to be on a war footing with his own people. PLease support Rato's blackout protest and post your objection to this racist and inhumane government in America. I am old enough to remember Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, Martin Luther King, Pete Seeger et al in the sixties marching for exactly the same reasons. Nothing has changed.
Thanks, Rato. I want the world to know that there are many millions of us here in the United States who just are as horrified and enraged by these events as you are, and that we appreciate the support we've seen from other countries. God willing we can vote these monsters out of office at every level in a few months and work towards healing the deep wounds racism and hatred have inflicted on us all.
