Being a child of thatcherite britain with a music scene sadly dependent on coiffure and the cold sheen of synthesizers, the search for long hair guitar music was aided by an american friend who gave me Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot. It seemed so exotic those twangy vocals, songs about fishing and pride and slide guitars everywhere.... So I started digging deeper into the souvvern boogie genre and found many delights these guys mixed in alittle rurual vibe, a song about trains and lots of weeping Allman solos.... Like spending a day trip into redneck town.... Music like this always makes me want to go fishing and watch sunsets. (in RateYourMusic)
