Original Released on LP CBS ASF 1627
(SOUTH AFRICA, 1971)
Not to be confused with the American band of the same name from 1966, this South African white soul group dominated the SA airwaves in the early 70s with songs like "Amen", "Hold On To What You Got", "Part Of Someone" and "Understanding". Sung by the gravelly-voiced Brian Mulder, "Understanding" is a powerful and imploring soul classic with a not so-subtle message for his cheating girlfriend. It reached #2 on the Springbok Radio charts in March 1971.

In the 1st place I didn't knew of the existence of such a South African group. It was the first surprise. Then I made the download and heard the entire album. It was the second and biggest surprise: pure soul music, remembering the best of Otis Redding, Wilson Picket or Joe Cocker.
Thank you very myuch!

Hi, it's been years that I've been looking for this album. Where can I download it like Alan Shivers did? I don't seem to find a link here somewhere.
Is there any way that I can trace this album on Vinyl, CD or electronic download? Please, I'm desparate. My name is Dries Lamprecht from Mpumalanga, RSA, 52 years old and I've been looking for this record since about 20 years ago.
Good Day Rato,
I would please like to also download this album as I have been looking high and low and cannot manage to find it anywhere...
